Before I'd ever heard Ochs's work, I read about his disastrous late concert where he tried in the second half to present another persona, a la Garth Brooks about two decades later, an Elvis-esque rocker, and getting an even more hostile reaction than Dylan ever had in "going electric"...
Nice find. Thanks. The guy had a great voice for folk music. I often think of a song where he sings about reading the New York Times to see what disasters have befallen us. But couldn't tell you anymore what the title was.
I love the works of Phil Ochs and think it is criminal how his career ended
